Overview
Clinical therapeutics, also known as therapeutic medical science, is the scientific application of medical treatments for diseases and disorders. It includes the use of medication, devices, and lifestyle modifications to improve the health and wellbeing of patients. The goal of clinical therapeutics is to restore a person's health and reduce the severity of any chronic illnesses. It is a critical part of the healthcare system, as it not only can improve an individual's quality of life, but also has the potential to prevent costly hospitalizations and reduce the strain on healthcare resources. Clinical therapeutics is used to diagnose, treat, and monitor a variety of conditions, ranging from common colds to serious life-threatening illnesses.
