Overview

Blood cells are the basic components of the blood, responsible for transporting oxygen, nutrients and other molecules around the body. Healthy blood cells are vital for our survival as they help to keep our body functioning properly. Without them, our organs would not be able to receive the necessary nutrients and oxygen. Blood cells also play an important role in the immune system, protecting us from infections and diseases. Furthermore, they are involved in clotting and help with wound healing. With their many important roles, blood cells are essential for human health and wellbeing.
