Overview

Hematology and oncology are two important fields of medical research that focus on the study of blood-related disorders and cancers respectively. One highly researched topic in the field is the relationship between genetics and hereditary cancer. Cancer is a complex disease that can be caused by various factors, one of which is genetics. Scientists have identified several genes that are involved in the development of cancer.
