Direct Synthesis of Aminoacids

Direct synthesis of amino acids (DSAA) is a process of preparing proteins, the building blocks of all life, using energy from sunlight in a sustainable and cost-efficient manner. Amino acids are essential for both cell division and the production of enzymes and hormones. DSAA is a method that uses photosynthesis to create single amino acids without the use of a precursor. This helps to reduce production cost by cutting out the need for expensive precursor chemicals. The resulting amino acids are of a high-quality and purity, and can be used to create nutrient-rich food additives, pharmaceuticals, and nutraceuticals. The most common application of DSAA is for the production of high-quality protein feedstock for animal nutrition, as a means to increase the nutrient density of animal feeds. Ultimately, the use of DSAA has the potential to revolutionize the agriculture industry, making it more sustainable and cost-efficient.
