Osmotic Pressure

Osmotic Pressure is an important concept in the field of physics. It is a force generated when two different solutions are separated by a semi-permeable membrane. This membrane allows some molecules to pass through, while retaining the rest. The force exerted by the passage of molecules is called osmotic pressure. Osmotic pressure plays an important role in the regulation of cells and the transportation of water and other materials within a living organism. In addition, it can be used in a variety of industrial settings such as wastewater treatment and desalination.
