Plating Efficiency Assay

Plating Efficiency Assay is a commonly used technique to measure microbial growth. It is used to determine the number of viable cells in a given population, as well as to evaluate the effectiveness of media and antibiotics on microbial growth. This assay is used to detect, quantify and compare the growth of different types of microorganisms. Plating Efficiency Assay is used in the study of the growth of different microorganisms and in the application of biotechnology to evaluate the efficacy of growth-promoting substances. This method is also used to measure the effectiveness of a medium for microbial growth and for the characterisation of microbial strains.
