Dr. Uma Hariharan is a leading academician and clinician, currently serving as a Professor in the Department of Onco-Anaesthesia and Palliative Medicine at the prestigious All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi. With extensive experience in managing complex surgical oncology cases, her expertise spans onco-anesthesia, palliative care, and critical care medicine. Dr. Hariharan's research focuses on perioperative management of cancer patients, difficult airway management, pain relief, and improving outcomes in the surgical ICU. She is a dedicated educator, actively involved in teaching and training postgraduate students, and a prolific author with numerous publications in indexed national and international journals.
