Biography

Coralia Bleotu is affiliated with the Faculty of Biology at the University of Bucharest, Romania, where she completed her education. Her research encompasses nanomaterials for biomedical applications, antimicrobial strategies, and cancer biomarkers, with particular focus on functionalized nanoparticles, hybrid formulations, and collagen-based therapeutic targets. She has published over 66 indexed works, including studies on magnetite nanoparticles stabilized with amino acids, carbon-silver-silicon nanostructured coatings for medical devices, and metal complexes with antimicrobial and antitumor properties. Her most-cited publication, "Collagen Family as Promising Biomarkers and Therapeutic Targets in Cancer" (2022), has received 74 citations, reflecting significant impact in the field of oncology research.
