Choose one submission route

Use only one route for the same manuscript. Duplicate submissions create competing records and can delay editorial handling.

Alternative: Simple form

Assisted: Editorial email

Where the editorial office has permitted email submission, send the files to [email protected]. Do not also submit through another route.

Before submitting

These checks reduce avoidable technical returns without affecting editorial assessment.

  1. Confirm scope

Compare the manuscript with the Aims & Scope.

  2. Prepare the files

Follow the Instructions for Authors for the manuscript, figures, tables, and supporting statements.

  3. Verify ethics and disclosures

Include approvals, consent, trial registration, competing interests, funding, author contributions, and data availability where applicable.

  4. Review charges

Read the APC page. Payment is not requested during submission or peer review.
