Independent, single-blind peer review

Every submission is assessed by independent reviewers. The model is single-blind (double-blind on request).

Editorial decisions rest on scientific merit alone. They are independent of any article processing charge, membership or role — payment plays no part in whether a manuscript is reviewed or accepted, and editors recuse themselves from decisions on their own work.
