Aims and Scope

 

The scope of the journal encompasses all aspects of human and animal brain imaging and neuroscience, including structure, function, regions and networks, genes, behavior, pathology, and treatment. International Journal of Neuroimaging (IJNI) publishes empirical studies, theoretical papers, and reviews, ranging from basic physiology to clinical applications. Submissions that address innovation and new developments in neuroimaging, as well as articles on technical advances, are particularly welcome.

 

The journal's objectives are to:

Facilitate the exchange of scientific knowledge between research laboratories and foster collaboration among them. 
Promote the development of new findings and methods in the field of neuroimaging 
Provide a forum for scientists to present their research and opinions
Encourage publication of new research on neurological disorders, including their diagnosis and treatment
Accelerate the advancement of neuroscience and neuroimaging research 

 

The journal is open to all types of research work including original research articles, review articles, short communications, commentaries, case reports, and letters to the editor. Submissions may include basic research, clinical research, and studies with both humans and animals. Authors are encouraged to include high-resolution, high-impact figures, animated illustrations, and video clips.

 

International Journal of Neuroimaging(IJNI) is a quarterly publication with a rapid review process. The journal does not adhere to any particular ideological slant or political bias. All manuscripts are subject to an initial screening and double blind peer review process to ensure accuracy and high scientific quality.
