Verified discovery infrastructure
Each item below describes a specific function. Identifier registration, metadata exchange, search discovery, and selective database inclusion are not interchangeable.
ISSN
ISSN 2474-3585 identifies the journal in catalogues and metadata records.
Crossref DOI records
Published articles receive DOI records under the 10.14302/issn.2474-3585 namespace, supporting persistent resolution and citation metadata.
OAI-PMH
Open Access Pub exposes article metadata through its OAI-PMH endpoint for compatible harvesters and aggregators.
Open full text
Article landing pages and available HTML, PDF, and XML formats are crawlable without a subscription barrier.
What this list does not mean
A DOI, ISSN, search result, repository copy, or harvested metadata record does not by itself establish inclusion in a selective bibliographic database. JPMC makes no additional selective-indexing claim on this page.
What an article record contains
Accurate records help readers, libraries, funders, and discovery services distinguish an article and connect it to its authors and journal.
Persistent identity
Article title, DOI, journal title, ISSN, publication date, volume or issue information, and licence.
Authorship
Author names, affiliations, corresponding-author information, and ORCID iDs when supplied and validated.
Research context
Abstract, keywords, funding, competing interests, trial or protocol identifiers, and data-availability information where applicable.
Version integrity
Corrections, retractions, or other post-publication notices remain linked to the scholarly record when issued.
How authors support accurate discovery
The editorial office prepares publication metadata, but several high-value fields originate with the authors and should be checked before submission and again at proof stage.
- Use the same author name and affiliation consistently across the manuscript, submission system, and ORCID record.
- Write a specific title and abstract that state the preventive-medicine question, population, design, and principal finding without overstating causality.
- Provide verified funding identifiers, trial registrations, repository links, and data-availability statements when applicable.
- Check the DOI, author order, affiliations, licence, and article type carefully during proof review.
How to assess a discoverability statement
A useful claim names the service, explains the relationship, and provides a direct verification route.
