Biography:

Dr. Solomon Umukoro completed his PhD Degree in Pharmacology from the University of Lagos, Nigeria. He is an Associate Professor in the Department of Pharmacology and Therapeutics, University of Ibadan, Ibadan, Nigeria. He is currently the Head of the Neuropharmacology Unit, Department of Pharmacology and Therapeutics, University of Ibadan, Nigeria. He is currently studying the relationship between stress and pathogenesis of neuropsychiatric disorders and how new molecules may ameliorate the impact of stressors on brain functions in laboratory animals. He is a member of International Brain Research Organization (IBRO) and has about 70 publications in reputed local and international journals. Dr. Umukoro is a regular reviewer to several local and international journals such as Brain Research Bulletin, Drug Research, Pathophysiology, Nigerian Journal of Physiological Sciences, African Journal of Medicine and medical Sciences etc.
