Research Interests:

The main focus of my research work is to examine the molecular mechanisms of autophagy, apoptosis, angiogenesis and metastasis, and develop novel drugs for the treatment and prevention of various cancers.

Biography:

  • I graduated in Chemistry (Hons.) from Banaras Hindu University (BHU), Varanasi, India in 2006.
  • I have completed Master of Science in Bioinformatics from University of Allahabad, Allahabad, India in 2008.
  • After completion of my master's degree I joined University of Bologna, Italy to complete my PhD in Cellular, Molecular and Industrial Biology under Indo-Italian Government scholarship program.  
  • In March 2012, I have joined Dr. Srivastava lab as a postdoc at Department of Medicine and Pharmacology, University of Kansas Medical Center, USA.
