Aims and Scope


Journal of Behavior Therapy and Mental Health (JBTM) is an open access, peer-reviewed journal dedicated to advancing research and practice in behavior therapy, mental health, and psychological interventions. JBTM serves as a platform for disseminating high-quality research, fostering interdisciplinary collaboration, and promoting evidence-based approaches to mental health care.   
 

JBTM publishes quality research papers in the following fields behavioral therapy and mental health, but not limited to:

  • Therapeutic Approaches & Interventions: This section covers various therapeutic approaches such as CBT, DBT, ACT, psychodynamic, mindfulness-based, and integrative therapies, as well as psychopharmacology, brain-based treatments, psychoeducation, and psychosocial interventions.
  • Mental Health Assessment & Diagnosis: This section focuses on the development and validation of psychological assessment tools, risk factors, early detection, diagnostic methodologies, and epidemiological studies on mental health disorders.
  • Behavioral & Social Aspects of Mental Health: This section explores biopsychosocial and ecological models of mental health, the impact of social, cultural, and environmental factors on psychological well-being, and mental health stigma, policy, and public health interventions.
  • Neuroscience & Psychopathology: This section delves into neurocognitive and affective mechanisms underlying mental disorders, advances in neuropsychology and neuroimaging techniques, and behavioral neuroscience and neurodevelopmental conditions.
